Weather in the UAE – Emirati climate:
The UAE is a warm and inviting country for many reasons; however, one main factor in particular is the favourable climate. The coastal regions are warmer, and these are where the main holiday resorts can be found. The UAE is divided into seven emirates: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Umm Al Quwain.
The majority of holidaymakers and property investors head to the Abu Dhabi and Dubai regions, so we will concentrate on those areas for the weather and climate reports.
The UAE enjoys on average 350 days of sunshine per year, which is around 3,500 hours, with warm spring times, very hot summers, and mild winters. The misconception is that the UAE does not have seasonal variation; it does. However, the climate is typically desert with lots of sunshine, mild temperatures during the winter months, and very limited rainfall.
The driest months are: May, June, and September The wettest months are: December, January, and February.

The Abu Dhabi region – Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Liwa Oasis The Abu Dhabi region’s average air temperature in the winter is 18°C and reaches 40°C in the summer. In the Abu Dhabi region, the winter sea temperature is 20°C, and during the summer, it is 32°C.
The Dubai region – Dubai, Hatta, and Jebel Ali The Dubai region’s average air temperature ranges from its lowest at 19°C in the winter months to summer highs of 41°C. The average sea temperature in the Dubai region in winter is 21°C and in summer is 33°C.
The Sharjah region – Sharjah, Dibba, and Khor Fakkan The Sharjah region’s average air temperature is 17°C at its lowest in the winter to a summer high of 40°C. The Sharjah region does not have a direct sea temperature for all areas, but coastal regions have similar sea temperatures to Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The summer season in the UAE is from June to September, with the best months to visit being November to March for maximum sunshine and more comfortable temperatures. However, you may find sightseeing more enjoyable in the cooler months of November, December, January, and February when it’s less hot.
