Fans of Polo are in for a real treat with The Santa María Polo Club being here, it is one of the most prestigious polo clubs across the globe. Its reputation is second to none and attracts thousands of keen polo players and international and professional players from far and wide who compete at events at this renowned club each year.
The Polo Club has spa facilities with nearby shopping which is of course designer with exclusive boutiques and brand name stores.
Walking, hiking and cycling
In Sotogrande and the surrounding areas, there are many beautiful paths and trails plus cycling routes, you can explore and enjoy the scenery. Either discover the coast or head inland for mountain views, all are spectacular. As Sotogrande is situated close to the Straits of Gibraltar there are many delightful picturesque caves and coves superb for exploring marine life. Within a 20 km radius from Sotogrande, southern Andalusia opens up to reveal all its hidden gems and is waiting to be explored by keen travellers. Gibraltar is a mere 24 km away, Marbella is 57 km away and Cadiz is 124.4 km. If you fancy a few days away then head to Seville which is a 203.3 km drive or visit Granada which is a 232.9 km drive.
